Hello Everyone. Today I sharing with you all my monthly spending for March and April. I didn't do March recap last month due to my move but I still kept track of it. The big chunk of my spending in March was shoe. I want to stock up and get some shoe off my wish list. Plus take advantage of my 30% discount that I had at DSW. As for Old Navy goes if you been reading my blog for sometime now. You know that is my store. So I want to pick up some more skinny jeans. Since there no Old Navy in Germany.

For this month April I had to get a lot of things. That I use on a daily basic. Mainly because you can only fit so much of it in your suitcase.  I needed a new blow dryer due to the one I had was 120v and in Germany the voltage is 220. So I gave my old one to my mom and brought a new one that would work over here. My straightener was dual voltage which was nice. Only problem is that it is 8 years old. So it start to make funny noise. So we thought it would be best to go buy a new one that was 220v. Which I'm loving my new blowdryer and straightener. My hair is nice a smooth with it.

So over all I went over my 100.00 dollar spending for the month. Next month will be a better month.

I have gone 38 days with out buying clothes and 43 days with out buying shoe.

Hello Everyone. Here are my latest two outfit that I have worn. I will have to say I was dying in the outfit that I wore Thursday. Due to it got up to 75 degree. I have no clue what I was thinking that morning. Over all thursday was a fun day. I went out with a friend I meet last week and she showed me around town. We also ate lunch at Ikea.

Yesterday day outfit was a comfortable outfit and almost prefect for the weather. It was 67 degree out yesterday but rained all day. So when I went on my walk yesterday my feet got wet. Yesterday for the most part I study for the drivers test. Which I have been improving on the practice test. So hopefully in a few more weeks I will have it down packed.

As for a house we find one. I don't want to say to much about it due to we still need to sign papers on it. So once the paper get sign then I will let you all know about it.

As far as an exciting thing that has happen to me this week is I made Outfit Hive outfit of the day. Which that so made my week.

April Nails and Toes

4-2-13 Pink nails polish on my nails and toes(didn't get the name of it) Upper Left Corner Nails and Right Corner Toes

4-6-13 French Manicure Day 1~ Lower Left Corner
4-25-13 French Manicure Day 19~ Lower Right Corner

Hello Everyone. This month I  treated myself to getting my nails done. After all the packing we did for the move here to Germany. My nails look nasty. Plus they broke. So I had to cut them all off but lucky they all have grown back.

On April 2 I went to Vivi nail salon and got a pedicure/manicure. Well after 4 days my manicure was all chipped. Which upset me. So hubby told me that I could get my nails done again. So I decide to do a shellac manicure. Which I'm happy I did. Its been 19 days since I got the shellac on and my nail didn't chip at all. They have been grown out. So the are peeling at the top.

So I'm not sure if I going to go buy some nail polish and paint them myself. I might just get shellac done again. Guess you will have to wait until next month to see.

As far as my nail polish goes. We try to mail it thru the post office but it was a no go. So MIL Peggy is going to try her best to see how she can get it to me. So for now I have no nail polish.

BCBG Taupe and Coral Sandals From DSW~12.22

Hello Everyone. This is the outfit I wore yesterday to go house hunting. Which the house we saw yesterday was weird. One of the bedroom had a sink in it. There wasn't a bathroom or anything else in it. It was just a sink in the wall. So we decide no on it. Plus it had no kitchen. Which you are lucky if you find a good size kitchen over here.

It been so nice over here that I been able to wear my sandals. Which make me happy. These coral and taupe are the only sandals I brought over with me. I only pack 5 shoe in the suitcase. Which on pair already gave me a blister on the top of my foot from walking downtown. Since are car isn't here yet. We have to walk everywhere or talk the bus. The last two time we went house hunting. We end up take a taxi back to base because we didn't feel like walking back.

Prayer to everyone in Massachusetts and Texas.

Hello Everyone. On Monday I started to study for my drivers test. The last time I was over in Germany. I didn't drive. I walked everywhere or took the bus. This time around hubby wants me to get my driver license. So there for I have to study all the german sign and laws. I have a good amount of road sign that I know by heart and can tell you what they are. I still need to get the rest of the sign down and the laws down.

As far as house hunting is going it's not going all that great. We looked at an apartment yesterday but we decide it wasn't for us. I went to the house office to day to schedule to look at another house we liked but the guy in front of me took it. I was so upset.  We might be looking at another house today. We are just waiting on the leasing office to call us back. Find a house might end up making me crazy.

I will try my best to read your blogs. It will take me a couple of month to get the swing of blogging again on a regular basic again.

Thank you all who have been reading my blog and leaving me comment. During this move. It means a lot to have so many people supporting my small blog. Thanks again.

April Recipe: Chicken and Dumplings

6 boneless chicken thighs
2 (10.75 ounce) canscondensed cream of celery soup
Salt and pepper to taste
1 (12 ounce) packagerefrigerated biscuit dough

In a large pot over high heat, combine the chicken with enough water to cover, and boil for 15 to 20 minutes. Drain some of the water from the pot, reserving 3 cups in the pot. Remove chicken and allow it to cool, then pull it apart into bite size pieces; return to pot.

Reduce heat to medium, and add the cans of condensed soup. Season with salt and pepper. Pull the biscuit dough into pieces, and add to the soup. Simmer over medium heat for 7 to 8 minutes, or until the dough is cooked through.

Lacquered Anchor Circle Earring From Forever 21

Hello Everyone. I hope you all are doing well. I have been doing well. Just trying to learn my way around base and get use to the time change. Today I'm sharing with you all the last 4 outfits I wore in Michigan.  I was a little upset with the pink jeggings. Due to I only wore them once and they got hole in the butt. So I went and returned them and they no longer had my size. So I got a medium/large and they are to big for me. I'm hopping they will shrink in the washer.

I do have a funny thing to share with you all. My carry on got to travel first case. Due to there was no room in the over head for it to go. So as we where getting off the plane I went to first class and grabbed my bag. Then yell down the hallway for Hubby to come to me. Since he was waiting for me. Once he got to me. I realized he didn't have my neck pillow. So I had to go all the way back on the plane and grab it. Which was hubby was a little mad about that. I could have just left it on the plane and got a new one but we all know I was not going to do that.

GUEST POST: Hello Spring From Sunny Days and Starry Nights

Hi Everyone! I am Jessica from Sunny Days and Starry Nights, where I share a blog with my sister Tracy. I would like to thank Amy for asking me to guest post for her! Thanks!

Spring has arrived. Your know what this means right? It's time to start packing those Winter clothes back up and time to pull your Spring and Summer things out of storage. It's time to look through your things and determine what you need to buy to ensure you are fashion ready for this Spring. I have put together a Spring must haves guide.

    Spring Must Haves

Mint Dress - Pink Lipstick - Sunglasses - Julep Nail Polish - Colorblocked Bikini - Leather Shorts - Clear Umbrella - Floral Pants - Neon Flats

Spring is the time to wear cute flowing dresses. The fact that this one is mint colored makes it even better. Colorwise this Spring you definitely need a few pastels like mint in your life and a few neon colored items. Flats are a must have shoe fore Spring. Beauty products you will need include Julep nail polish, I like the pretty pastels and the bright neon colors that they have, and pink lipstick is definitely needed. By the end of Spring you will definitely need a cute swimsuit like this color-blocked bikini. Floral prints are beautiful year-round, and they are a necessity for Spring. Shorts are also a must have Spring and these leather shorts can work with some many different tops.

What are your must have items for Spring?

Hello Amy's Fashion Blog readers! I'm Crystal and I blog over at Put some Polish on It. Amy asked me to guest post on her blog while she's moving, and I was just honored. I have a flower tutorial to share with you today.

    Here's what you'll need

A striper or a small skinny brush, a base color, a color for the center of the flower, and a dotting tool. Don't have a fancy dotting tool? No need. My first dotting tool was a stick pin pushed into the eraser end of a pencil. You can also use a bobby pin, toothpick, or the head of a writing pen.

    1. start with 2 coats of the base color of your choice.

    2. using the striper start a curved line from the tip of the corner of you nail to a little further than the middle
    3. again use the striper only this time curve the start of the line away from the other line and then meet them together
    4. repeat step 2 beside the other flower petal that you have just done
    5. repeat step 3 curving the line away from and then meeting up to form a petal
    6. repeat step 2 again but this time going out toward the skin side of your nail
    7. repeat the curve back to form the petal but this one will be against the skin along the side of your nail
    8. using the dotting tool add a dot to the center of the flower petals in that corner of your nail
The good thing about this flower is it doesn't have to be perfect!

Do a little clean up around your nails and then apply a top coat.
And there you have it the corner flowers!

Hope you enjoyed the tutorial. Thanks for reading!

GUEST POST: Shop My Clost From Camille of I am Never Naked

Camille Of I am Never Naked

Make Sure you check out Camille Youtube Channel to see a video on How to Host a Shop My Closet Event.

If you know one thing about Amy it's that she loves to remix clothes. She also loves to save money. When you need to save money sometimes you have to sacrifice fun outings with friends, shopping and eating out. This is a sort of hybrid event that you can host! Have fun with friends, while getting your spring cleaning on and saving money!

    Shop My Closet

      photo IMG_0504_zps336aaaf4.jpg

To host this event you will need to do a little prep. Start by cleaning out your closet, go through everything. Be critical and honest, I've become my own worst enemy because I hold on to everything!

I decided to create a boutique like shop in my basement, which is the next step, choosing a space.
Preferably you'll want a big space, especially if you have friends bringing items to sell too. Set up tables  to lay out jewelry, place shoes or fold clothes. See below how I used desks to display my items.
     photo IMG_0499_zps47ec210c.jpg

Next you will want to set a price; you could swap item for item (if your guests bring clothes) or do a dollar amount. I chose to price everything at a dollar, another idea is to fill a bag for $5 or buy 2 get 1 free. This makes it easy and won't slow down the party with calculations. Even better, if you were planning on donating let them choose what they want then donate whatever is left over, everybody wins!

      photo IMG_0501_zpsef954ba6.jpg

For the atmosphere you'll need appetizers, drinks and music. The appetizers should be simple and something your guests in hold in their hands while they shop. I made individual dip cups with carrots and celery (check out the pic below), I also had popcorn chicken and rice crispy treats. Since all my guest were 21+ I bought wine and some soda. I had a little trouble setting up the music so I plugged in the radio as a last resort.
      photo pizapcom13625371769131_zpsabef6175.jpg

An extra touch you can do is to make goodie bags! I had tons of makeup samples and some unused makeup I didn't need and used them to create some bags as a thank you for my guests! They are getting some clothes off your hands and giving you some extra money!
     photo IMG_0503_zps9a1f2b47.jpg

If you're like me you have also saved shopping bags and boxes. You can give each friend a bag to shop with to keep their finds together. I also used boxes to package jewelry up.

I hope this inspires you to spring clean and host a fun girl's night with your friends!

If you have any questions please send me an email or tweet!
