WHAT I'M THANKFUL FOR 2014

Hello Everyone. Since Thanksgiving is around the corner. I decide to share with you all what I'm thankful for this year.  You can see year 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 by clicking on the years. 
1. My loving and supporting family. 2.  Everyone that reads my blog and leaves my comment 3. Food and water 4. Being able to travel. Just this year I have been able to go to Paris, Berlin and Prague. 5. My amazing friends 6. Being able to be a housewife 7. My health 8. My clothes and shoe 9. The company that have contact me to do review for them. 10.  The Troop that fight for our country.

Halloween Recap

Happy Monday Everyone. I hope you all had a great weekend. My weekend was a good one. On Saturday I went to my friend Halloween party. Which this year they had a theme party. The theme was viking. So I went as a viking towns lady. My husband went as a future viking Dr. For a costume this year we made some of it and then brought some things.  The dress I'm wearing is from a Halloween costume store. My husband crocheted my headband. Along with his hat and mustache. We brought some fur and lined them with silk. To wear as are cloaks.

For food we did it pot luck style. I made a peanut butter roll. I got the recipe off of Sunny Days&Starry Nights. I also made my 7-layer Mexican Dip. My husband made 99 jelly shoots for the party. All the food was yummy. I ate and drank way to much.

Over all the party was a great one. I'm so happy how my costume turn out. It took my husband and me a few weeks to get everything just right. The best part about my costume is I can wear it again. If we ever go to a castle fest.

Happy Halloween Everyone. To finish BBCA for this year. I decide to wear my favorite color combo of all time. Which is pink and black. Going to keep with short today. Since I have baking to do for tomorrow Halloween Party. Let hope I don't burn myself like I did last year. Last year I was a Zombie Nurse.  Hello Everyone. I hope your all had a great weekend. My weekend was a so so weekend. Meaning there was good time and bad time. One of the bad thing was. My dad told me the family dog. Named Casey isn't doing well. She is almost 14 years old. So I'm hoping she will bounce out of this. It just broke my heart to get this news.   

For the good part of the weekend. I got to wear my new shoe. Which mean my shoe ban was broken. Ended up going 122 days without buying new shoe.  On Thursday my hubby and me both had a dentist appointment to go to. Which where downtown. After we ate lunch. We had some time to kill. So I got the idea to walk around New Yorker. That when I run in to these shoe. I was like OMG these shoe are so much fun and prefect for the 4th of July. My husband was like what are you going to wear them with. I told him jeans. So I brought. them They are super comfortable. So I see myself  get a good amount of use out of them. 

Another good thing this weekend. Was we went to the German/American Fest. Which was a lot of fun. We didn't stay to long due to it started to rain.  So no firework show for us.

Hello Everyone. First sorry these picture aren't the greatest. They were taken when I was in a rush to get out of the door on Saturday. To go to help my friend set up for her daughter birthday. Which she had a mind craft theme party it was super cute. My friend went way out for it. Each kid got a goodie bag to take home with them. At the party they each got a wooded box. To make in in to a jewelry box. They got a bag of gem to decorated it. Which I help some of the smaller kids with adding the jewels to there box. It was tons of fun. 

In the brown bag was the wooded box.

As for my outfit goes. I want to be comfortable but fun at the sometime. So I decide to wear this colorful shirt that my friend L handed down to me. I miss getting hand me down from her. She had the best item that she didn't want. This is the third time I have wore this shirt. Which the first time I wore it a button fall off of it. So on Saturday I decide to cut the button off of the shirt all together. Since I didn't see myself using them.

Hello Everyone. Happy St. Patrick day. God is good. He was so on my side today. My husband text me this morning saying his bus got in to accident. I wasn't by my phone due to I was cleaning house. Well my phone started to ring and I ran to get it. It was my hubby telling me he was ok and that there had been an accident. I asked him if his other co-workers where okay. He said they where all fine but the bus driver. He told me the bus driver was passed out. At the time I was thinking he must have passed out from the accident. My hubby had to let me go that way he cloud call some more people and let them know what was going on and why they hadn't made it to work yet.  After I pulled myself back together. My hubby text me over picture from the accident.  Which had me all shaken up again.

 The picture where scary to see the bus went over the railing and in to a ditch. Lucky there where tree that stop the bus. Otherwise the bus would have rolled. The guys on the bus had brake a window. That way they could crawl out of the back of the bus. They are think the bus driver had a stroke at the wheel. So if you could say a prayer for his family. 
To some people what I'm going to say next might sound funny but I truly live by this. Make your bed everyday. If you make you bed every morning then your guardian angels will be with you. If you do not make your bed every morning then your guardian angels will still be sleeping and not with you. I make my bed every morning. 

On this St. Patrick day. Please everyone be safe. Also don't drink and drive. In the spirit of St. Patrick day. I'm wearing green so I don't get pinch. Also it was a great way for me to rediscover this green sweater. That I haven't worn since December of 2012.

Also is the spirit of St. Patrick's day we are having corn beef and cabbage for dinner. Its a tradition every year to eat it. I either make it or we go out to eat and have it.

Auto and Technik Museum Speyer

Hello Everyone. On Saturday I went to the Auto and Technik Museum in Speyer Germany with a few friends. We all had a great time. Walking around the museum looking at all the cars and airplane. There was couple of air plane that had slides to slide down. That way you didn't have to walk back down the stair. Which I took that route. After the Museum we went to Die Kortoffel to have dinner. Which there will be another post on that.

MY THANKSGIVING 2012

Hello Everyone. I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving for those who celebrate it. I started cooking my turkey at 8am and then went back to bed. Mainly since I didn't get all that much sleep last night. Then I woke back up at 9am and got ready for the day. I decide to wear my Pink Suh jersey since the lions game was on. I paired it with my ripped up jeans. Then for a touch of fun and to make my outfit look festive I throw on my pink headband.

The turkey got done at 1:30pm. So we had an early lunch/dinner. Which I was planning on doing. Since my dad had to work at 8pm tonight. After we ate dinner then we had pumpkin pie. My dad had my pumpkin roll and love it. My oma's pumpkin rolls is still my favorite.

Good Luck to everyone going shopping on black Friday. This year will be my first year going. Then late on in the afternoon. I will be at work. It will be my first time closing on a black Friday too.

Thanksgiving Menu 2012

Hello Everyone. Today I bring you my Thanksgiving menu for this years Thanksgiving. Which is this Thursday. This year I'm having a small one. It's just going to be my parents, sister, hubby and me. Last year I had over 12 people over at my house who I cook for. Also it was my first year hosting Thanksgiving. I will tell you I love hosting Christmas over Thanksgiving due to it seem easier for me to cook a ham then a turkey. Last year it felt like the turkey took 8 year to cook in the roaster. This year I'm going to cook the turkey in the oven. So we will see how that will go.  Also this year I will have pot holder to use instead of dish towels. Hubby pick these roster pot holder up at the dollar store. They were two for a dollar. He got two pack of them. So lets hope 4 will be good. If not out will come the Easter pot holders. Now on to what we will be eating this up coming Thursday.

3. Stuffing~ I will not be eating this because I don't like it

6. Cranberries Sauce~ Another thing I will not be eating

8. Green beans~ My dad make's this for Thanksgiving and Christmas

12. Cracker and Chesse~ before dinner

Also the best part of this dinner is the fact the turkey cost me .15 cents. Kroger was run a sale on there turkeys. If you brought 10.00 in food you get the turkey for .69 cent a pound. The turkey we picked up is a 21.95lb and normal would cost 34.90. So we brought 10 dollars in food. For Thanksgiving and the week. So after the .69 cent a pound the turkey came down to 15.15. Well my parent went to the casino a few weeks ago and they were handing out 15.00 coupons out for any brand of turkey and ham. Since they are coming to my house for thanksgiving. They gave me the coupon. So after you take the 15 off the 15.15 price. You have a turkey for .15 cents. This so made my day yesterday. Over all yesterday I saved a total of 99.75 in coupons and sale. A friend of my wrote on Facebook that I'm the woman.
