Monthly Recipe: Brown Sugar Spiced Baked Chicken

 Ingredients

2 1/2 tablespoons light brown sugar

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cumin

3/4 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

6 chicken breasts

Directions 1. Pour brown sugar, paprika, oregano, garlic powder, and salt & pepper into a bowl. 2. One by one place the chicken in the bowl and coat it.  3. Place the chicken in a ziploc bag. Seal the bag. 4. Place the chicken in the fridge for 30 minutes. You can do longer if you want but 30 minutes is all you need. 5. Preheat oven to 425 degree(233 Celsius). 6. Arrange chicken breasts on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-23 minutes.
Hello Everyone. I'm back with another recipe to share with you all. The first time I had this chicken was at a friends BBQ over the summer. It is super good chicken. So I ask my friend where she find the recipe at. She told me on Pinterest. On a Sunday afternoon I searched her recipe board and I find the recipe. That night I decide to make the chicken. I didn't have the smoked paprika. So I used regular paprika. Which the chicken turn out okay. It didn't taste the same as we had at the party. I told my friend that I made the chicken and it didn't taste the same. She told me that she used the smoked paprika and dark brown sugar. When I went to the store to buy smoked paprika I couldn't find it. So I said something to my friend about not being able to find the smoked paprika in the store. Then next day my husband showed home with a bottle of smoked paprika that my friend gave her husband to give to mine. So now I have smoked paprika. I re-made the chicken again using the smoked paprika and dark brown sugar and it turn out amazing.
This chicken recipe is used a lot in my house. Since it so easy to do. I will whip this up some night before I go on a run. Then when I get home all I have to do is pop it in the oven. To go with the chicken I just add a side of vegetables with it.

Hello Everyone.  I wore this outfit on Saturday to go out with some friends for some food and drinks. To cerebrate a friend return back from a deployment. I had no idea what I want to wear. So I went to my fashion idea board on Pinterest and saw I pinned the outfit above. Which I knew I could easily recreated the look with my new boyfriend cardigan that I got from Old Navy and the scarf  I got for my birthday. I did have to go with a heel shoe instead of a pair of flats. That way my jeans didn't get ruined.

For dinner we ate at the Engel restaurant. Which they have amazing hamburgers. Everything there is homemade down to there ketchup. Over all my Saturday night was a lot of fun.  As you can see I took a few selfie. That was mainly to document the fact I was wearing purple lipstick. Which I have never done before. This year I have really been stepping out of my makeup comfort zone and trying new makeup out. I even sign up for Ipsy last week. That way I can try even more new makeup out.

Hello Everyone. Today I thought it would be fun to share some running inspiration with you all. Since I did a fitness one last Sunday. Also I want to give you all an update on how my running is going. I'm hoping I will be able to run a 5k this Saturday but it still up in the air due to my hubby work schedule and us only having one car.  I will keep you all posted if I do it or not. I have drop my running down from 3 days a week to one day a week. Due to insanity is working my legs out good. On May 22 my legs hurt so bad I told myself I would just run 2 miles but in my head I was out to do 5.50 miles. In the end I pushed myself and did what I was out to do and plus some more.  

My running goal are to run a 10k. Also in March of 2015 to run the semi de Paris marathon. So I have been working my way up to ran 13.1 miles. Right now I'm not paying attention to my time. I'm paying attention to the distance. 

If you can't run right now and you want to. I say take it slow. Go out there and run what you can. Then stop walk and start back running again. That what I had to do a the beginning and look at me now. I'm running 5.25 mile with out having to walk.

Hello Everyone. After my morning run this morning. I had no idea what I want to wear. Then I remember that I had pin a hoodie and skirt combo. So I went to the computer and pulled it up. After I looked at for a minute. I went to the closet and pulled these items out. This skirt hasn't been worn since July 2012. I wear this hoodie a lot but don't take picture of me in it for the blog. The last time it was on the blog was October 2012.  

I was lucky to catch my hubby this morning to take my picture before we left for work. He told me that he didn't get this outfit at all and that it didn't make sense.My phone is in my hoodie pocket. That's why the pocket looks weird. 

Tonight we are going back to Waldgeist for dinner. With a few of are friends. Since are one friend has friends in from out of town. Don't worry I will not be drinking any beer tonight. Its my hubby turn to drink.

Closet Tour 2014

Hello Everyone. If you have been around my blog for a few years. Then you know I move around a lot due to my husband job. Which it can be nice at times and also a pain in the butt. Specially when it comes to housing my clothes.  I have been wanting to do a Germany closet tour for sometime now. So after I cleaned out my closet at the beginning of the year. I finial was able to get a picture of everything. 

Which with every move it seem my closet gets smaller and smaller. When I first start my blog I lived in Florida. Which in Florida I had a huge closet I shared with my hubby. Which we didn't even have enough clothes to fill the whole closet up. You can see the Florida closet post  here and here. After living in Florida for 3 years. We moved to Michigan. Which in Michigan the walk in closet was so small. My husband and me couldn't even share. So he took the master closet and I took the guest bedroom closet. After living in Michigan for a year and a half. We moved back to Germany.  Which this time around we didn't get a house with closet in it.  So we had to go out and buy wardrobe closet to fix are stuff.  My husband job gave us three to use. Which wasn't enough for all are clothes and jackets. So we went out yard sale shopping and find 2 more wardrobe closet for under 30 dollars. 

That still wasn't enough room. So we had to go out and buy drawers. Believe it or not my husband has more cloths then me. He has 2 and half wardrobe closet for is clothes. Plus a full dresser with his clothes in it. So now on to what you all have been waiting for the closet tour. 

This is my wardrobe closet. We had a shoe rack we weren't using. So I put it in my closet to hold my hoodie. Which this work better and looks nicer then the shoebox I was previous using.

Also to add some more room in to my tiny wardrobe closet. I use the skirt hanger that you can hang on top of each other. Also in my closet I have a pink bow scentportable that I got from Janna Of  View From the 512 during are stocking stuffer swap. Inside of the scentportable I have a bath and bodyworks sweet pea in there. That my best friend Janet got for me for Christmas. She sent me 5 of them. So I'm stocked for sometime now. 

The only clothing items that doesn't fit in my shrunks is my dresses. Those live inside of one of my husband  shrunks. Which he doesn't mind sharing one of his shrunks with me. I know it hard to see my dresses in this shrunks but if you look closely you will spot them. 

 We are lucky to have a bed that has two drawer on each side of it. Which helps when you have a tiny place to work with. On the side I sleep are my two drawers. Which in them I have one drawer for solid shirt and tanks. The other drawer holds all my graphic tanks and tee. I have been folding my shirt like this for year. Pinterest has tons of ideas to fold shirt.

 For the longest time here in Germany I had my tights in baskets. Well it was driving me nuts. So one day I got to idea to use a desk organizer to hold my tights. Which this work perfectly. Not only are the out of basket. They also have a home to live in. I organized my tights by color. After I figured out my color layout. I rolled the tights up and put them in the desk organizer. Then I put the organize in my swimsuit/white and black cami drawer. 

I hope you all liked seeing my Germany closet tour and maybe you got some storage ideas from this post. I plan on doing an update on my Shoe collection. So be on the look out for that. For now you can look at my 2013 shoe collection. Which my shoe collection has grown from last year.

Pin it and Did it: Monthly Recipe Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs

• Happy Spring Everyone, I'm back with another Pin it and Did it post. It been a few weeks since I last did one of these post. This time around I bring you bacon cheeseburger bombs. My hubby find this recipe on Facebook and sent it me the recipe in a private message that way I could make it. The recipe come from Spend with Pennies blog.  I didn't use the picture she pinned on pinterest due to
•  it is copyrighted. So you get too look at my picture. If you get a chance go over to

• are amazing. 

I did change the recipe up some when I made these. Instead of using junior biscuits. 

I used the the large biscuits. Thats the only thing I changed up 

with this recipe. 

• Ingredients
• 
  
• 1 pound lean ground beef
• 1/2 onion, finely chopped
• 3 slices of bacon, chopped
• 1/3 cup cream cheese
• 1 tablespoon ketchup
• 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
• 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
• 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
• 1 egg white
• 1 can Pillsbury Biscuits (10 biscuits)
• 5 oz cheddar cheese, chopped into 10 squares

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

 In a large pan, brown ground beef, bacon and onion until cooked. Drain any grease.

Add cream cheese, ketchup, barbecue sauce, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Stir over low heat until cream cheese is melted. Allow to cool. Once cool, stir in egg white.

Roll each biscuit out very thin. Place 2 tablespoons beef mixture on each biscuit and add 1 square of cheese. Wrap the biscuit around the beef/cheese and tightly seal the edges.

Place biscuits on a parchment lined pan s

seam side down. Put them in the oven and turn down the heat to 350 degrees. Bake 13-16 minutes or until lightly browned.

Serve warm.

Hello Everyone. I love this outfit so much. I pinned it twice on my fashion idea board on pinterest. I did change a few thing up from the inspiration picture. Instead of tie the shirt at the bottom. I tuck it in. I did try tie the shirt but it didn't work out for me. In stead of heel I went with my converse knock off. Which work better for me. To do my grocery shopping in.

I can so see myself wearing this outfit again. It is so easy to throw on and comfortable to wear.  I have 5 more outfit left in my 30x30. Which I only know what I'm going to wear for 1 of them. So far I have worn everything twice beside my hot pink skirt. 

 

Flower were a Euro a piece. (1.37 Dollars a piece)

So yesterday when I was at Ikea I pick up these flower for my office. Which now my little corner is complete. The bottle the flower are in. Is a bath and body work bath salt bottle. I just removed the label and washed the bottle out. Also the picture frame on the dresses is the tray I made out of a broken picture frame. I find at the recycling center. You can see it better in this post. The tray used to live in the bathroom but once we got the new cabinet we lost cabinet space in the bathroom. So I had to rearrange some things around. I'm really happy how this side of the office turn out. I still have an okay amount to do in here.

Hello Everyone, This week so far has been very productive and busy. First thing is last week my bathroom cabinet broke. We try are best to fix it. We ran to Ikea to see if they had a part for it but no go. So on Tuesday I stop the housekeeper. He a man who keep the outside looking nice and also clean the outside hallway to my place clean. Also does small repair work. Well he told me he couldn't fix it to call the landloard. So we did that and Tuesday night we have a brand new cabinet sitting in my hallway. Yesterday they came in and put the new one in. So today I have to reorganize the bathroom. Due to my hair products are to big for the cabinet.

Also this week I find an online garage sale page on facebook. So I start my spring cleaning. So I put some items up for sale and with in a few minutes they have sold. Which make me so happy. I'm soon to have my house the way I want it. After living in it now for 7 month. So I have been making appointment to drop the stuff off to the people and get my money. Which with the money we are making. We are turning around and buy stuff for the house. 

So with all the running around I have been doing. I need a simple outfit to wear. Which this one is the prefect outfit for today.

 For today  pin it and did it I have another organizing project for you all. Like I said last week this is my new year resolution. So you might be seeing a lot of these for my pin it and did it. For this week I decide to showcase my nail polish. If you read my blog you know I love to do my nails. 

A few weeks ago. I was talking to hubby and told him I wanted to figure something to do with my nail polish. So we went on Amazon and find me a nail polish rack. He went ahead and brought for me. Which it came in the mail last week. I was so excited to see it. Well on Monday of this week hubby had the day off. So as I was sleeping he hung it up for me. He also put all the nail polish on the rack by brand. Which I couldn't stop laughing when he showed me. I told him I was laughing because that how I was going to do it. I did go in after him and fixed it up. I did the nail polish from light to dark. Which I blame on my 10 year of retail work. Also I think it looks nicer.

This is what all my nail polish lived in. Which it used to be under the sink cabinet. Once I got my nail polish collection from the state. It not longer could fix under there. So it move to sitting on the futon in the computer room. (Sorry I didn't get a picture before we empty it)

My rack it hold 100 polish is on it. Which I have 13 polish still in the plastic box. Once it get the company room fix up. I will find them a new home.

Hello Everyone. I have been loving my chambray shirt. I don't know why I waited so long to wear it. The only downsize to the one I own is it a little small for me in the sleeve.So I rolled the sleeve up for this outfit.  When I brought this shirt. It was right before my move to Germany so I didn't try it one. I wish I did. I plan on buying another one from Old Navy after 30x30. With a gift card I got from my dad for Christmas. I'm going to get in a big size. I'm think a large this time. It will be a little big but it will be fine. Yesterday I picked up an orange camper shirt from the recycling center and it is an Old Navy x-large. Which it is big for me but I will make it work. Plus that shirt doesn't brake my 30x30 because it was free. I love the recycling center. You can find so many cool item there and the best part is there free.

For this week Pin it and Did it. I pick to do some organization project. My new year resolution is to be more organized.  So the first one I did was I use egg cartons to pack my small Christmas ornament in. Which I did this at the being of the month. The second one I did was I used a kleenex box to hold grocery bag in. On Tuesday we brought a mini fridge off a guy. Who was moving back to the state. We decide to put the fridge in the only closet in are house. Which is right off the kitchen. This closet holds all the trash can. Hubby was move everything to put the fridge in to the new place. Since my left rib cage was hurting. Due to I slept on it wrong.  As he was moving stuff he was like why in the world do we have so many bags. He said just keep the bio bag. So Yesterday I went thru all the bag and only kept the good bio bags. Which we use for are bio trash.  After I went thru all the bags. I folded them up and put them in the kleenex box. Which now sits on top of the fridge. Also having them in the Kleenex box make the room look nicer.
