Guest Post: The 6 Remix by Elegance and Mommyhood

Hello Amy and Amy's readers and fans. My name is Ada and I blog over at Elegance and Mommyhood.
My blog is mostly a Style Blog about my everyday fashions as a stay-at-home mom to my beautiful 13-month old baby girl Vivian. It's also filled with lots of updates on the baby and adorable baby photos. I am so happy that Amy asked me to Guest Post for her today. We have been following each-other for about a year and a half now. While we both currently live in Europe, we both have close family in Michigan so we have that in common. =)

On the 6th of each month I run a special post called "The 6 Remix" where I take 6 pieces and mix them into 6 different outfits or I take 1 piece and style it 6 ways. I love clothes and shopping as most girls but I am all about remixing my closet as well. Today I am showing you 3 different outfits remixing my Blush-Pink Aztec Skinny Pants. Since Spring is in the air and March is the first official month of Spring. but especially since I know Pink is Amy's Absolute Favorite Color, I decided to style my pants paired with Pink. This one is especially for you, Amy! =)

As you can tell for this Remix I chose to do two dressy outfits and a casual one (in the middle). I even remixed my neon pink chiffon blouse into 2 different outfits, one time dressy and then layered with the softer pink sweater for the casual look. The first outfit is probably the most elegant yes the simplest. I would wear it to work and it can go straight into a dinner date or cocktails, afterwards. The second outfit is casually chic, utilitarian, for a Mom on the go like myself. The third outfit is more bright and fun. The hot pink cardigan has chiffon roses all over the chest part. I picked up the floral theme by adding a little hot pink/fuchsia floral scarf to my belt loops as a belt. This is more of a date night look so I added a bold gold clutch and some leopard pumps for a little bit of print mixing. Below are more photos of each outfits in detail, as well as where each item comes from. Enjoy!!

Guest Post: That Touch of Pink By Elle Sees

Hi! I'm Elle, from Elle Sees, a beauty and lifestyle blog. When Amy asked me to guest post, I knew I wanted to make sure my post had plenty of pink--her favorite color. I hope you enjoy this look for a date night, with that touch of pink!

I get my inspirations for my outfits in unusual places.  My inspiration was the Miss Dior perfume bottle--it's so feminine and one of my favorite scents. Here's how I put it all together:

  • sparkly pink tank

  • A grey blazer

  • Keeping it casual with jeans

  • I'll bring a grey scarf in case temps fall

  • This darling pink clutch

  • The smallest spritz of Miss Dior

Guest Post: Sponging Nail Tutorial By Put some Polish on it

Hello Amy's Fashion Blog readers! I'm Crystal from Put some Polish on It. Amy asked me to do a guest post for her and I was honored.

I thought I'd share a basic tutorial on how I do the sponging technique.

Pretty simple. I love this technique because it doesn't have to be perfect. Hope you enjoyed it as well.
