My 2014

Hello Everyone. Today I'm going to recap my 2014. First I want to thank you all for reading, commenting and following my blog. 2014 was my blog year. So many great thing had happen on my blog this year.  I had the opportunities to work with some great company this year. Also to do a few giveaway. Which stay tune I will be having some fun giveaway coming in 2015.
January  I team up with Candy at Curves Ahead. For a 30x30 Challenge.  Which was fun but I don't see myself doing another one of these.  Also this month I hosted my favorite things giveaway. Where you had to chance to win a few of my favorite things. Another thing that happen this month was I featured my Husband in a special post for Paul Fredrick. 

 February  I finished my 30x30.  Also another thing happen this month I show you all my pin it and did it organize project. Another thing happen this month was I did my first blog swap this year and meet Tiffany of Endless Bliss.  A fun thing that happen this month was I got to review glasses from Firmoo. Which these glasses I got. Have became my favorite pair to wear. 

March  I got to knock of Paris off my Bucket list.  I showed you all my closet. The weather was getting nice out and the fest season started. Which I went to the Spring fest Idstein. Also this month kicked off my outdoor outfit of the day photo's. This month I had the opportunity to review a watch from Born Pretty Store and Shop Hopeful Kiss. I also got to write about Victoria's Dress.

One scary thing that happen in March was husband was in a very bad bus crash. Lucky they hit a tree. If they would have gone any farther they would have been in the water. God was truly on are side that day.

 April   I ran my first 5K. I did my first blog interview on my blog with Galaxia of Hopeful Kiss A Pink Lipstick Life!.   Also this month I went to the Wiesbaden Easter fest. I did a fun review for Sensation of the Night. This month I took a leap and got bangs for the first time in years.  I got the the Very Inspiring Blogger Award from Beautify and Glamour Zone.

I did a Review for Ozeal. I wrote about my home away from home. Showed you what I would wear to Vegas if I ever went.  Also this month I wrote about my weight struggles. I got The Sunshine and Shine On Award from Debbie of I Love My Lemonade Life

June I review nail cones. This month I went to the Wiesbaden music fest. I showed off my shoe collection.  I held my first blog link up.

July  I did 2 review for Kisspat Hair Chalk and OOFOS Shoe. Which I was feature on OOFOS Shoe Pinterest page.  I spent my birthday in Prague. I celebrated my 4th year of blogging 

 

August  This month I celebrate my 10 years of marriages in Berlin. Also did an Inspire swap with  Becky of  Mise En Place. I also join in with  Fanatics to do a NFL Challenge.  Also this month I went to the Heidelberg Castle. I got the  Very Inspiring Blogger Award from Dawn of Simply Sassy's Style. I also got sunflower awards by Jackie form  Beautify

September My blog got a make over thanks to Elizabeth Loves Design Studio. I did a Fall swap with Tiffany of Endless Bliss. This month I got Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Awards from Jackie of Beautify.

October I host BBCA(Blogging for Breast Caner Awareness) for the 3rd year. Which this year I had Ada of Elegance Mommyhood  helping me co-host. This year I had the biggest turn out of all time. Also this month I did a review for Whirl a style. 

November I spent two week in Florida. Visiting my family and friend.

December My mom and grandparent where in a car accident. Which they all are doing better. I also went to a few Christmas market this month. Also did a review for swaagbox.

Happy Friday Everyone. This month you will be see a few festive outfit. Specially since I own 3 Christmas related top that I like to pull out once a year. I know there a fashion rule. If you only wear it once get rid of it. Well I don't go by that rule with my Christmas shirt and my Breast Cancer shirt. They are shirt I only wear during special month.  I have had this snowflake ornament shirt for 7 years now. I have worn it 4 time on my blog. Each time I have worn it. I have remixed it. This is my first time wearing my snowman scarf with it. Which last year I didn't wear my Christmas scarf at all. 
If you can't tell by now. Christmas is my all time favorite holiday. Not only do I decorated but I wear Christmas related clothes.  I can't wait to get my tree up this weekend.  Beside getting my tree up this weekend. I might be going to another Christmas market. 
Side note today make my 1400 post here on my blog. 

To go along with my snowman scarf. I'm wearing my snowman sock. Which this is today Christmas item.

BBCA( Blogging for Breast Cancer Awareness) Recap

Hello Everyone. Today I wanted to do a recap on BBCA. This year I wore 28 outfit with some kind of pink in them. The other 3 days out of the month. I featured my pink nail art. Which you can see them in my monthly nail recap.  During BBCA I stepped out of my comfort zone with some pattern mixing. I also bust out a good amount of my graphic t-shirts.

During BBCA I had 1 blog milestone. Which are I learned how to make my own blog badge.Between Ada of Elegance Mommyhood blog and mine. We had a total of  99 link collected.  I want to thank everyone who join in on BBCA this year. This year I received  the biggest turn out I have ever had in the 3 year I have been hosting this. There was a total of 32 blogger who join in. You can see all the blogger name on my Blogging for Breast Cancer Page. Also if you go to my Pinterest under Blogging for Breast Cancer aWEARness you can see all the blogger outfit from this year and the past year.  Also during BBCA I list 31 companie who support Breast Cancer Awareness. You can see the companies under the post.  Overall I'm happy I was able to put this together again this year and wear pink for 31 days to support a great cause.

4 Years of Blogging/Giveaway

Hello Everyone. Yesterday marked my 4th year of blogging. When I start this blog back in 2010. I had no clue what I was doing.  All I knew was I want to show the world my outfits. Also show woman that you can dress cute and stylish on a budget.  So I started taking pictures of my outfit in the bathroom with my iPhone in my closet mirror and then moved to floor mirror. When I moved to Michigan. It only took me 3 years to invest in a better camera and got some help with taking my picture. 

In the 4 years of blogging I have meet so many great bloggers and became friends with a good amount of you. Which with out your guys support I probably wouldn't be here today. I can't thank you enough for your support you give me every day on my blog and social media. Also thanks to everyone who stops by my little blog everyday to read it. I'm very thankful for all the support I get from everyone who read, comments and stops by my blog.  When I started my blog I had no clue that I would have it for this long. I can't wait to see what the next year of blogging will bring me.

With these last 4 year of blogging I have learn a lot about myself. The biggest one is you don't need to buy new clothes all the time. Before starting my blog I had a big problem with thinking I needed new clothes all the time and that I had nothing to wear. I did my first 30 for 30 in 2011 and it was a real eye opener.  It truly help me realized that I don't need new clothes all the time. In fact in 2013 I went after a year without buying any clothes. 

To celebrate my Blog Birthday. I have put together a small giveaway for you all. With a few of my favorite things.  One person will win a 25 dollar gift card to Old Navy. I just took it off my nails on Tuesday.  Also this month I decide to use my Julep polish again. Since it was been 2 years since I used it last. Tough it out Tuesday: Insanity Update

Hello Everyone. It's been 30 day since I wrote that I was going to be doing Insanity. As you can see in the picture my body has change a little. It still a work in process. I'm happy with the small result that I have gotten so far.  I can't wait to start seeing more. 

Which these last two weeks I have slightly fallin off the wagon. I haven't been working out 6 days a week like I was. I have been doing more walking and counting that as my work out. I need to get back on track again and start doing the insanity work outs again.  I'm not going to lie there were days that I skipped the insanity workouts and did a 10 minute trainer instead. They also were day that I did both work outs.

I have been working out for a total of two month now. Which the first month I did a mixture of home workout videos. Then second month I did insanity and 10 minute trainers. As a result from eating right and working out. I have now hit my first goal weight which was to get back down to 2013 summer weight. Which was 135.  I still have a good way to get to my Michigan weight but I know I can do it.  

Instead of moving on to the second month of insanity. I'm going to redo the first month over again. Which I will do another update post on  how things are going in a month.

Starting weight April ~143

May~ 137.6 ~ Mixture of workouts

June~133.6 ~ Insanity and 10 minute trainer

Total weight lost~9.4 pounds

Happy National Pink Day. As most of you know I'm obsessed with the color pink. So every June when this day come's around I get all excited and make sure I wear pink. One year one of my co-worker even surprised me on national pink day with giving me pink starbrust.

Today I knew I want to wear my pink jeggings but I wasn't sure what to wear with it. So I went to my tank top drawer and found this black ruffle sequin tank top. Which I have always love pink and black together. Plus I haven't worn this tank in 2 year.

 Hello Everyone. The weather has become nice again. Which I love. So for today outfit I decide to pull my black maxi dress out. Which I haven't worn since last June. Since it wasn't warm for bare arm. I throw on this jean jacket that I got from Old Navy a few years ago. Which it  has been sitting in the closet for a year and half. 

Also today outfit make my 600th outfit that I have remixed. Since I have start my blog. It just show you the right piece can go a long way.

 I got the chance recently to interview Galxia blogger and owner of Hopeful Kiss A Pink Lipstick Life! 

How did you come up with the idea to open up your shop?

I came up with the idea to open my shop because of my blog readers! Especially when a lot of my international readers would comment that they liked the lipsticks I was featuring, but that the brands were hard to find or very expensive in their countries. And no matter where you live, most companies don't offer the opportunity to sample a lipstick before buying a full size. The idea just hit me and I had to try to help! :)

Have you thought about add other color lipstick to your shop beside pink?

I actually have added a red-orange OCC Lip Tar to my shop! I'm definitely thinking about adding other colors from my best-selling brands, like YSL and Urban Decay, too.

What is you favorite brand of lipstick?
It's so tough to pick a favorite lipstick brand! haha But for luxury, I love YSL; for mid-range I love MAC; for drugstore I love Revlon ♥

  How much time to you spend on your blog and your shop?

Yikes, I spend a lot of time on my shop and blog. It's tough because I'm a mom, wife, homeowner, etc...but I love it. Doing this makes me really happy and it's like my "me time"...a little escape from the day-to-day stuff. I'd say I spend only 20 hours a week on it because I need my sleep! It could easily become a full-time job though HAHA!
