Hello Everyone. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and Survived Black Friday. I had a great Thanksgiving. I ate way to much food. I have no idea why I thought wearing hi-waist pants was a good idea because it wasn't. I end up having to unbutton my pants. Lucky I was smart and wear a long  shirt. 

For Thanksgiving we ate at M's house. She had it all decorated nicely. Like she always does for party and get together.  We did it potluck style and everyone sure out did themselves. They are so many pie that they didn't get eaten on Thanksgiving.  As for black Friday I just order a couple dresses on Old Navy. My husband on the other hand shopped on Amazon and brought a whole lot of movie. Plus who knows what.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. On the 16th of this month. Oma, my husband and me went over to my Aunt house for the day. Where my Oma made chicken paprikash. Which is my favorite food that she makes.

Today I'm spending my Thanksgiving with my set of good friends. We are doing it potluck style. I made 3 dozen pumpkin cookie. Along with a pumpkin Cheesecake. I'm also doing the dinner rolls. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving. If your celebrate it.

Hello Everyone. I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving for those who celebrate it. I started cooking my turkey at 8am and then went back to bed. Mainly since I didn't get all that much sleep last night. Then I woke back up at 9am and got ready for the day. I decide to wear my Pink Suh jersey since the lions game was on. I paired it with my ripped up jeans. Then for a touch of fun and to make my outfit look festive I throw on my pink headband.

The turkey got done at 1:30pm. So we had an early lunch/dinner. Which I was planning on doing. Since my dad had to work at 8pm tonight. After we ate dinner then we had pumpkin pie. My dad had my pumpkin roll and love it. My oma's pumpkin rolls is still my favorite.

Good Luck to everyone going shopping on black Friday. This year will be my first year going. Then late on in the afternoon. I will be at work. It will be my first time closing on a black Friday too.

Thanksgiving Menu 2012

Hello Everyone. Today I bring you my Thanksgiving menu for this years Thanksgiving. Which is this Thursday. This year I'm having a small one. It's just going to be my parents, sister, hubby and me. Last year I had over 12 people over at my house who I cook for. Also it was my first year hosting Thanksgiving. I will tell you I love hosting Christmas over Thanksgiving due to it seem easier for me to cook a ham then a turkey. Last year it felt like the turkey took 8 year to cook in the roaster. This year I'm going to cook the turkey in the oven. So we will see how that will go.  Also this year I will have pot holder to use instead of dish towels. Hubby pick these roster pot holder up at the dollar store. They were two for a dollar. He got two pack of them. So lets hope 4 will be good. If not out will come the Easter pot holders. Now on to what we will be eating this up coming Thursday.

3. Stuffing~ I will not be eating this because I don't like it

6. Cranberries Sauce~ Another thing I will not be eating

7. 5 in 1 salad

8. Green beans~ My dad make's this for Thanksgiving and Christmas

12. Cracker and Chesse~ before dinner

Also the best part of this dinner is the fact the turkey cost me .15 cents. Kroger was run a sale on there turkeys. If you brought 10.00 in food you get the turkey for .69 cent a pound. The turkey we picked up is a 21.95lb and normal would cost 34.90. So we brought 10 dollars in food. For Thanksgiving and the week. So after the .69 cent a pound the turkey came down to 15.15. Well my parent went to the casino a few weeks ago and they were handing out 15.00 coupons out for any brand of turkey and ham. Since they are coming to my house for thanksgiving. They gave me the coupon. So after you take the 15 off the 15.15 price. You have a turkey for .15 cents. This so made my day yesterday. Over all yesterday I saved a total of 99.75 in coupons and sale. A friend of my wrote on Facebook that I'm the woman.

My Thanksgiving Menu

Hello All. No Fashion or Shopping post today. Today I'm going to talk about food. This is going to be my first Thanksgiving Home(Michigan) in 5yrs. The last 3 were spent in Florida and the other 2 in Germany. Not only is this going to be my first Thanksgiving home. It going to be my very first one I will be cooking. I have never cooked a turkey in my life. 

Lucky I have such a loving dad. That said he will help me cook it. My oma said the first time she cook one. She left the inner in the turkey. I know for a fact I won't be doing that. So on to my menu.

1. Turkey

7. 5 in 1 salad~ Super easy to make. Take sour cream, Half bag of coconuts, baby marshmallows, walnuts and pineapples. Mix it all together and put in Ice Box

So that's what I will be making on Thanksgiving for dinner. This is going to be fun. 

Also there will not be an Awkward and Awesome post this week due to Thanksgiving.

Hello All. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I did. I had a great time with my Family. Which I only see them a couple time out of the year due to are work Schedules. My cousin were playing cops and where try to put me in play handcuff. They are too cute and can get a little bit crazy at times. My Oma made everyone treat bags with leaves magnetic in them or a Pumpkin pins. I was luck and got both. The food was amazing and we got lucky to get tons of leftovers. That will be lunches for the next few days. So over all I had an amazing day. Now I'm going to watch a movie with Hubby and then hit they hay. I have an early morning tomorrow.

Want to add Oma thought I was crazy for wearing boots. She kept asking me why I had them on. Someone said she is being fashionable.

What I’m Thankful For 2010

Since it is getting close to Thanksgiving I thought I would share what I’m Thankful for.

1.   My Loving Family

2.   My loving and Caring Hubby

3.   A Car- Due to I didn’t have one in Germany I walked to work. It was a 5 minute walk so it wasn’t bad.  When I moved to Florida I shared a car with Hubby. So I walked to work Monday-Friday. It was a 30 minute walk to get to work. 

     4.A House- I love having my own house that I OWN.

5.    A Job- I’m very thankful to have one. Special right now. I no good amount of people that don’t have them or are losing them.

6.   Water- We our luck that we have water in the United States because some county don’t have it. It is so nice to take bath and hot shower. Also to be able to drink it.

7.    My doggy Priscilla- She brightens my day up. When I’m down she cheers me up.

8.   My Friends- That I have in real life and especially all the wonderful friend I have made threw the Internet.  You know who you are and I know you are reading this.

9.   Money- To buy food and other items that I need to live.

10.                Clothes- To keep me warm and fashionable.

So that is the 10 Item that I’m thankful for.  I hope you enjoy reading what I’m thankful for.
