Tough it out Tuesday: Insanity Update

Hello Everyone. It's been 30 day since I wrote that I was going to be doing Insanity. As you can see in the picture my body has change a little. It still a work in process. I'm happy with the small result that I have gotten so far.  I can't wait to start seeing more. 

Which these last two weeks I have slightly fallin off the wagon. I haven't been working out 6 days a week like I was. I have been doing more walking and counting that as my work out. I need to get back on track again and start doing the insanity work outs again.  I'm not going to lie there were days that I skipped the insanity workouts and did a 10 minute trainer instead. They also were day that I did both work outs.

I have been working out for a total of two month now. Which the first month I did a mixture of home workout videos. Then second month I did insanity and 10 minute trainers. As a result from eating right and working out. I have now hit my first goal weight which was to get back down to 2013 summer weight. Which was 135.  I still have a good way to get to my Michigan weight but I know I can do it.  

Instead of moving on to the second month of insanity. I'm going to redo the first month over again. Which I will do another update post on  how things are going in a month. 

Here are my total results.
Starting weight April ~143
May~ 137.6 ~ Mixture of workouts
June~133.6 ~ Insanity and 10 minute trainer
Total weight lost~9.4 pounds

Monthly Recipe: Proatmeal

 Ingredients
2/3 cup cooked oatmeal, prepared with water
1 scoop of protein powder
1/2 cup of fresh or frozen berries
1-1/2 Tbsp chopped walnuts
Splash of skim, almond, rice, or soy milk.
 
Directions
 Combine ingredients in bowl

Hello Everyone, This month recipe is an easy breakfast meal. Which I enjoy eating. I do make mine a little different then what the recipe calls for. I don't use the water to cook my oatmeal. I used 1/2 cup of almond milk. After I add the milk. Then I add my protein powder in it. Stir it up and then pop it in the microwave. Once it done cooking. I add my blueberries and walnuts. With the items I use up above this recipe is 451 calories. It keep my super full until lunch time.

Monthly Recipe: Brown Rice Bowl

Ingredients
2/3 Cup Cooked Brown Rice
3 oz. Grilled Chicken Breast, Diced
1/3 Cup Corn Kernels, Cooked
1/3 Cup Peas,Cooked

Directions
After cooking everything. Combine it in a bowl and eat.  

Hello Everyone. This monthly recipe is a little different from my past recipe. My hubby and me have start to eat better again. So we decide to start using the  Insanity elite nutrition book again. Since we have started doing Insanity again this week.

What great about this is it only 400 calories and it is super fulling.

Tough it out Tuesday: Insanity

Hello Everyone. Today I'm going to talk about my body. Please no negative comment. If you have been reading my blog for sometime now. You know that in 2012 I was the heaviest I have ever weighted. Which I would get comment telling me how fat I gotten. That when I decide I had to do something about my body. In August 2012. I started doing Insanity and lost 20 pounds. Which I felt great. You can read about my Insanity HERE.

I did such a great job keeping the weight off. Until April of 2013 that when I move to Germany. I was living in a hotel for 3 month and eat out a lot. Which cause me to start gain some weight. I was going to Zumba 3 time a week. Which helped me lose some of the weight. Well in July of 2013 I move in to my house and slowly started to stop working out. In October I was hitting the gym hard. Then the holiday came around and everything went to crap.

In January of this year I start back up with working out. Mainly just running. I still was eat whatever I want to eat. While a few month ago I step on the scale and start to cry. Due to I was weighing in at 143. Which to some people I know that is nothing but to me it was a huge deal. Due to that is now the heaviest I ever weight.  I have always struggle with my weight. For the longest time I was underweight and was trying to gain weight. Which you can read a post I did on that HERE

With the added wight I have gain. It  cause me to not enjoy getting dress. I still blogged about  the outfit I was wearing but made sure you couldn't see my stomach. Due to it the biggest thing on my body. I didn't want people to think I was pregnant. Since I have gotten asked in the past if I was.

Well over a month ago. I decide it was time take my life back and get fit again. I started to do a few insanity workout. Along with some Jillian Michaels and some random home workout. Plus running.  What I would do is one day go on a run. Then the next day do a home workout. I did this 6 days a week.  Along with doing this. I was watching what I ate and started to eat health again.

Which a lot of my family and friend think I'm crazy for doing this. They tell me that I look fine. The thing is I'm doing it for ME.

Which with working out and eating right for over a month. I have lost 5.4 pounds. I'm now weighing in at 137.6. I'm starting to feel great again and enjoying getting dress again.

Last week I decide to start up doing Insanity again. Along with the Insanity diet that goes with it. Since that what I used last time when I lost the 20 pounds.  In 30 days I will be doing an update post on how Insanity is going. Insanity is a 63 days programs.

Hello Everyone. Today I just ran some errand and workout. I will say that I have gain all the weight back. That I lost during Insanity.. So I have been thinking about starting it up again. On Mondays and Thursday I do Zumba. Which I have skip last week and this Monday. One Tuesday I do circuit training. Which that what I did this morning.

Happy Fat Tuesday Everyone. I just realized I have a food baby. From the two  Paczki I have ate so far. I'm taking a dozen to work. So my food baby will grow. I think the people at Dunkin Donuts thought I was nuts. Due to I got 3 and half dozen of paczki's this morning and by morning I mean 6:30am. Hubby pre-order 2 and half dozen. @ dozen for his work and a half for home. So I decide I wanted a dozen to take to work to. So I order another one.

Today outfit is a rediscover one. I find this polo in my two small pile. Well since I did
Insanity.
For two month and lost some weight. So I decide to wear it with the cardigan/sweater that way I'm warm at work.
I haven't worn this polo in over a year. The cardigan/sweater has been 4 month since I wore it last.

Also this will be my last work outfit for the week. After today I'm on vacation for 8 days. Which I'm just staying home. I plan on cleaning my closet out.

January Recipe: Citrus Baked Chicken

 
Ingredients

4 oz. boneless,skinless chicken breast
1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. paprika
Sea salt and freshly ground pepper(to taste)


Directions 
  • Place Chicken breast in an ovenproof dish and top with the olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, salt and pepper.
  • Bake at 375 degrees
  • For 15 to 20, or until cooked through
Hello All. Today I bring you all the first recipe post for 2013. I got this recipe from the Insanity elite nutrition book. Hubby and me had this for dinner last Monday. Over all I thought it tasted good. I love the fast that it is a quick and easy meal to make. Also you can put whatever you want on the side. We went with some Asparagus on the side. Since it is my favorite vegetable.

MY 2012

Hello All. First I want to thank you all for all support. It mean a lot to me. To have you read and leave comment on my blog.

2012 was a great year for me and my blog. I reached 228 follower on my blog. My facebook Fan page reached 81 follower and my Twitter hit 109 follower.

In January I started do my monthly nails recap. Where I recap the nail polish I used for the month. I also chopped my hair off. In February I did Kmart Sofia Vergara Fashion Style off. Which is my most view post at 1,274 views. Also this month I went to MOD(manger on duty training).


March I broke my shopping ban at 108 days with out buying clothes. In April I reached 300 remixed outfit. Also this month I won a 250.00 Amex Card from Pongr for there fashion contest.  Another great thing that happen in April was my 2 year anniversary with DSW.  In May I hit  700 post. I also received the Versatile Blogger Award. Also this month I started doing Monthly Recipes. 

In June I went on a mini family vacation to a cabin. Priscilla won April M Jewelry cutest dog contest. Also I hosted my first sponsor giveaway. Thanks to Fancy Steps.  Another thing that happen this month was I went to my first blog event. Which was Shop My Closest.
July was another month full of exciting thing. I turn 27 this month. Which I had an wonderful birthday. This month I started doing WIWW: What I wore Wednesday post. I celebrated my second year of blogging. Also this month I got two blog awards. Which were Liebster Blog and One Lovely Blog.

In August I started doing Insanity. I lost 20 pounds doing this work out and change the way I ate. This month I celebrated 8 year of marriage and 10 year of being with my hubby. Also watch my Hubby cousin get marry. 
September I went a show REO speed wagon. Also this month I jump in on link up to Mani Mondays. One exciting thing that happen this month was my chocolate chip cookies made picture of the week on Pongr. October I host my first blog link up. Which was Blogging For Breast Cancer AwearNess. Also I hosted my second giveaway. At the beginning of this month hit I 400 remix outfits  

In November I went 9 days with out wearing pink. I also did a review for  Crest 3D Whiting Stripes. December was filled with a lot of exciting thing and a lot of first things to. This month I hit 900 post. I did my very first blog swap and Christmas card exchange. I had my very first guest post on my blog. Also I did Merry Manicures this month. Last but not least I did my Second company review for eShakti.

2012 was filled with a lot of blogger first for me. I ended this year with 449 remix outfit.  Five Month of not buying clothes or shoe. I can't wait to see what 2013 bring me. I hope you all will stick around to find out with me.

Hello Everyone. Today was one crazy work day. I'm glad it is over with. Which I know it will get crazier until Christmas. Today I decide I want to wear a skirt to work. Since I figure I would be ring all day. This skirt I'm wear hasn't been wore in 2 year because it was to small. Thanks to Insanity
 I Can wear it again. Which it is nice. Now I have 3 black pencil skirt I can wear. This blue sweater hasn't been worn since last December. I have the hardest time figuring out what to wear with it. Only thing that comes to mind is black pants. So to switch it up this time I did this black skirt.
