My Winter Nail Care

Disclaimer: I was not paid in any to do this. All opinions are 100% Mine

Hello Everyone. I was so happy to get contacted by Julep's Community Outreach Coordinator, who was looking for bloggers to share tips on how they winterize their nails. They included a great tutorial of their own, which includes six steps great tips on how to winterize your nails.

First off I want to tell you all that I haven't painted my nail or did anything to them in a month. As an active nail polish wearer. I think it great to give your nails a break here and there. To help them stay healthy. I'm going to share with you my 7 tips on how I winterize my nails.

The items I use to take care of my nail are the following.
~Nail clippers
~Nail File
~ A mild hand soap. For soaking my nails
~Shea butter hand cream
~Cuticle pusher

Step 1~ Remove your nail polish if you have any on. Then cut your finger nail. I do this once a month. If you don't want to cut your nail then you can move on to step two.

Step 2~ Use the nail file and shape you nails to your liking.

Step 3~ Put warm water in a bowl with you favorite hand soap. The soap I'm using is Bath and Body Work Paris Armour. After soaking you nail dry your hands off.

Step 4~ Use the cuticle pusher and push your cuticle back.

Step 5~ Moisturize you hands with you favorite lotion. The hand lotion I'm using is True Blue Shea Cashmere Hand Cream.

Step 6~ Pick the polish you want to use for your nails.

Step 7~ Use you favorite Base Coat.  My favorite base/top coat is the Sally Hansen it the Ultimate Shield Base and Top Coat. It dry very quick.  After I put one layer on the base coat on. Then I added two coats of Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant in 305 Or you can use Julep nail polish in Lacey. Another great blue from Julep is Trina Turk from there fall 2012 in Gunta. After I let the Covergirl polish dry. I used one coat of Spoiled by Wet n Wild in S068 Jewelry Heist on my middle and ring finger.

Since today is the only day I have painted my nails. This is also my monthly nail recap post as well.

Monthly Nail Recap/Last FL Outfit

Day 10 of Florida Vacation
Pink Burnout Longsleeve From UA~ 13.97
Skinny Kicks From American Eagle~15.99
White Gem Earring From On Style 200 Czech Republic Koruny(9.78 Dollars)
White Slip on Shoe From New Yorker~ 4.95 Euro(6.67 Dollars)

Hello Everyone. This is my last Florida post. Since this is the last outfit from my trip. I have tons of food pictures. If you would like to see a post of everything I ate. Then let me know and I will do a post on it. On this day it was in the low 50's. So that meant long sleeve. Which I didn't pack any. So I was happy I picked up this pink long sleeve from under armor. The week before. Like I really need another pink long sleeve. Also when I saw this graphic t-shirt at Victoria Secret I just to get it. Since the quote is from mean girls and it so me. Since it got pink on it.

On this 10th in Florida. My husband meet up with some old co-workers for lunch. Then for dinner we meet up with my best friend Janet. We ate at the rainforest cafe. Which wasn't the best restaurant to catch up with old friend but we all had a great time.

Top Left Corner~ November 7th, 2014, bluesky gel polish color in hot Pop pink. Ring Finger is Jamberry cup of tea.
Top Right Corner~November 9th, 2014 Nails inc. magnetic polish Kensington palace 082
Bottom Left Corner~November 9th, 2014  Emma - easy UV - polish dark ocean 28 Ring Finger is Jamberry Sunday Brunch
Bottom Right Corner~ November 27, 2014 Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant in 220 and O.P.I. Only Gold for Me

This month I was lucky to get 2 free sample of Jamberry.  Toria's Treasure Chest  and  Framed Frosting are Jamberry consultant and they sent me some sample of Jamberry to try out. My first time putting on the Jamberry I messed up. So they didn't last long on my nails. The second time I did the Jamberry. They last me 2 weeks. Which was my whole Florida trip.  Which was super nice.  Jamberry are super easy to use. All you need is a blow dryer and some time. The last 2 weeks or more. They are super easy to take off. They cost 15 dollars. Which you get multiple use out of them. Which is super great unlike the Sally Hansen nail stripes.  I so see myself ordering some of these in my future.

Since I was going to Florida this month I decide to paint my toenails. Do to I knew I was going to wear open toe shoe. Just a heads up. Next month is going to be filled with a lot of Christmas manicure. I picked up some nail decals from Born Pretty Store and can't wait to use them.

HAVE A GREAT SATURDAY.

BBCA DAY 25: October Nails Plus Reveiw

Disclaimer: I was not paid to write this review. I was given the water decals for free to try out. All opinions are my own.
October 25, 2014~Bowknot Leaf Rose Sticker in number C068
Hello Everyone. Today I'm back to talk about another pack of water decals that I got from Born Pretty Store.  They were nice to send me 4 packs of water decal to try out. The first one I try out was the Rainbow Flower Pattern in XF1401 which you will see down below. These water decal are super easy to use. This time around I used some tweezers to get the water decal out of the water. Which made getting them out of the water super easy.

I was able to use one whole stripe to do both my thumb and ring finger on both hand. Which is super nice. This way I still have the rest of the pack to use. For nail polish this time I went with a gel polish from Sally Hansen. The polished I use was the Sally Hansen Salon Gel Polish in Back to the Fuchsia. I have to tell you all this is one of my favorite gel polish to use. When you are using any kind of decal with gel polish. You need to use rubbing alcohol after you cured you nail to remove the stickiness. Then place the decal on you nails. After you have the decal on your nail. Use a paper towel to get the left over water off. Then top it off with top coat.

Left~October 7, 2014, Revlon scented Parfume in 360 Bubble Gum. Under the Decals I used O.P.I. A-Ha Moment, Ring and middle finger have the  Rainbow Flower Pattern in XF1401 on them. ( The decal lasted 8 days on my nails. That with doing all my housework and other things) see review on these HERE
Middle~October 16, 2014, Broadway impress in tweet heart
Right~October 17, 2014 O.P.I. Elephantastic Pink Ribbon color is Kiss Nail Art Paint in White
This month I try out the Born Pretty Store water deal. Which I really like using them and I see myself using them in future manicure. I plan on ordering some Christmas decal. Since Christmas is my favorite holiday. Also this month I gave the Impress nails a try too. Sadly they only last a day before I took them off.

Don't forget to link your pink post up with my Co-Host~ Ada of Elegance Mommyhood and me.

Today Breast Cancer Item is Health Perch. Information down below is from there site.

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime

This statistic is what makes breast cancer awareness month so important. Through early detection, chances of survival are greatly increased. Mortality rates from breast cancer have been declining since 1989, especially in women under 50. This is largely thanks to growing awareness of the importance of early detection.

Despite the leaps being made, breast cancer still accounts for more deaths than any other cancer, besides lung cancer. Talk with the women in your life about the importance of getting screened for breast cancer this October

Have a great Saturday.

Hello Everyone. It that time again for another monthly recap of my nails and the polish I used. Since we are in fall now. I went with some darker color. Which I have to tell you all I'm not a fan of black nail on me. So I don't see anymore black nail manicure in the feature.

This month I tried out blue crackle nail polish. Which I have had this polish for 2 year and this was the first time it used it. I pair the blue with a silver polish to repentance the Detroit Lions. I also try out the insta gel strips again. Which I'm still disappoint in the fact you can only get one use out of them. This time I thought maybe if I tape the package back up I could used them again. Which it still was a no go. So I did what I did last time to reuse them. Which is add nail polish on your nails then slap the ista gel strip on them. For 10.99 these aren't worth my money. I did find out some dollar tree in the state sale them. I will say if I ever find them for a dollar. Then I will repurchase them but there no way I will pay more then a dollar for them.

Also this month I try out the Emmi-Easy UV Polish in red glitter. I have to say I really like it with the red polish under it.
HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY.

Hello Everyone. Where in the world is August going to. I can't believe 2014 is half away over with. Since I'm doing a Berlin week next week. I decide today would be the prefect day to do my nail recap. Which this month I paint my toenail twice. Which I normal only do them once a month.

This month I try out the Kiss nail art sticker with gel polish. I have to say I really like how it try out. I also learn when you are using these sticker with gel polish. You first have have to wipe the stickiness off from curing your nails. Then add the sticker and add the gel top coat. Also this month I decide to do an ombre nail. Which after doing them. I wished I would have done the color a little different.

I hope you all have a great week. Tomorrow I'm going to a BBQ. Beside that this weekend should be a low key one.

HAVE A GREAT FRIDAY.

Hello Everyone. It the last week of July. So that means its time for my monthly nail recap. Which this month I brought 2 new nail polish. I got the Essence Nail Art Special Effect in the feather effect. I also picked up Essence Color & Go Sparkle Sand Effect. Which I loved both of them. I was super happy to find them for a under 2 Euro.  Nail polish in Europe can be pretty expensive. So I don't get to try out a lot of the new trends for nails. So when I find them at a good price. I have to buy them.

I also picked up this month a new nail polish remover and  it work awesome. It takes gel polish and glitter polish off your nail. The remover costed  3.60 it the brand Onyx Professionals.

HAVE A GREAT TUESDAY.

With the Sally Hansen salon ista gel strips. Once you open the pack up and use them once. The extra ones are no good. Which I didn't know that until I went to go use them again. Lucky I like to be frugal. So I made them work. I just used clear nail polish to stick them on. Then I used the clear gel polish on top. Which they have chip more then the gel nail polish.

Elf Cranberry From Valentines Day Swap Gift From Tiffany of Endless Bliss
Kiss Nail Artist Flat Sticker Christmas From Scribble

Hello Everyone. It's getting close to the end of the month. So I decide it is time to do my nail recap for the month. Which this month I painted my nails 4 time. Almost all the nail polish I used this month were new. Only 3 nail polish I used this month. Have been used in the past. Which they were the O.P.I. Almost Famous, O.P.I Havana dreams and Sally girl in Vernis a Ongies.

A couple new nail products I try this month were insta gel strips. Which they are super easy to do. They do take longer to do then regular gel nail polish. I also try out another color in the Emma-easy UV polish. Which I totally like the Emma-easy UV polish better then the Blue Sky Gel Polish. One reason I say this is. The Blue Sky polish only last a week. Which the Emma Easy UV polish it last 2 weeks. Like gel nails are supposed to last.

I also try the Kiss Nail Artist Flat Sticker for the first time. They are super easy to use. You just let your color polish dry. Then you put the sticker on and add top coat.

Since its starting to get warm out. You will be seeing my toenails in this recap. Which I know I didn't do a great job paint my toenail. I need more practice at it. I will get it one day.

February Nails Recap

2-6-2014 Blue Sky Gel Polish in Hot Pop Pink
2-21-2014 elf golden goddess and blush Valentines Day Swap Gift From
Tiffany of Endless Bliss.
Hello Everyone. This month I only painted my nail twice. Mainly due to I have been super busy this month. I so don't recommend buying the Blue Sky Gel Polish Line. It's no good. It only stay on you nails for 1 weeks. Which I have the Emmi-Easy UV-Polish brand and it last 2 weeks. Like gel polish is supposed to last.

This month I try Elf nail polish out for the first time, Thanks to Tiffany of Endless Bliss for sending it to me in my Valentines Swap box. This nail polish dry super quick. Which I love. Also the color is super pretty. The blush color is like a peachy color. Then I used the golden goddess over the blush. I was only going to do my ring finger but since I liked how it look. I went ahead and did all my nails.

HAVE A GREAT TUESDAY.
