Halloween Recap

Happy Monday Everyone. I hope you all had a great weekend. My weekend was a good one. On Saturday I went to my friend Halloween party. Which this year they had a theme party. The theme was viking. So I went as a viking towns lady. My husband went as a future viking Dr. For a costume this year we made some of it and then brought some things.  The dress I'm wearing is from a Halloween costume store. My husband crocheted my headband. Along with his hat and mustache. We brought some fur and lined them with silk. To wear as are cloaks.

For food we did it pot luck style. I made a peanut butter roll. I got the recipe off of Sunny Days&Starry Nights. I also made my 7-layer Mexican Dip. My husband made 99 jelly shoots for the party. All the food was yummy. I ate and drank way to much.

Over all the party was a great one. I'm so happy how my costume turn out. It took my husband and me a few weeks to get everything just right. The best part about my costume is I can wear it again. If we ever go to a castle fest.

Hello Everyone. It time for my monthly recap on my spending.Which I'm also adding what I got for my birthday in this recap as well.  Thanks again to everyone who sent me a gift or card. Also for all the birthday wish on my social media and here on the blog. 

This month I went a little crazy with shopping. I broke both of my shopping ban this month. Which I ended up going 124 days without buying clothes and  122 days with out buying shoe. I did get a good amount of stuff that I didn't need. Like the nail polishes but they have been on my want to try list. Also the shoe I didn't need. I have been wanting a pair of white shoe for a good amount of time now. So when I saw the white shoe on clearance at New Yorker. I just had to get them. 

My goal for August is to spend under 50 dollar.

 Happy Friday Everyone. This week went by super fast.  I still can't believe after tomorrow we will be in June. After June there a lot of celebrating happening. We have my birthday and my blog 4th  birthday. Then our 10 year wedding anniversary and after that my husband birthday. So a lot of fun thing will be happening. Still not sure what we will be doing to celebrate all these fun milestones in a our life.

Since the weather is still going strong with being nice. I decide to bust out this colorful dotted skirt. I had no idea what top I want to wear with it this morning. So I first put on an orange tank top and was going to do a sheer top over it. Turn out I didn't like that combo. As I was standing in my bedroom trying to figure out what top to wear next. It hit me. This pink hi-low tank top that I got for my birthday last year and haven't worn on the blog. I wore this tank a lot last summer. Since it gets hot here in Germany and we have no A/C. We just 2 fan in are house and keep all the window open.

Freedom Run 5K

Hello Everyone. Thank you all for your awesome comment on last Tuesday post. I can't tell you how much it meant to me. 

On Saturday April 12, 2014 I ran in the Freedom Run 5K. I'm happy to report I beat a lot of records this day. Which is awesome for this being my first 5K.

The 5k end up being a 3.35 mile run. Which I so want to stop running after I hit the 3.10 mile mark. My friend G was by my side and helped me push it thru to the end. I'm so glad she was able to be there for my first 5k. Since she leaving to go back to the states in a week for good.

I finished my 3.10 which is a 5k in 33:09.  Which I cut some time off of it from my training. I end the total run at 35:46. My total pace over all was a 10'40. 

I also ran my fast mile on Saturday which was a 9:41. My next 5k run is May 31. I hope that I will keep on improving each time. 

I also want to give a huge shout out my friend AR for getting a picture of me as I across the finish line. Your the best. Thanks Again.

Hello Everyone, Its a cold rainy and fog day here. They say this whole week is going to be that way.  I'm glad I got me some rain boot. So don't be surprise if you see them a lot this week on the blog. I can't complain about the weather because last week we were in the 50's. When most of the United States was in the negative degrees. 

Today outfit didn't turn out how I plan. It just happen. I original was going to wear a brown vest I got in February and haven't worn yet. When I put the vest on with this gold sweater I didn't like it. So I went in the closet and grab my lace vest. Which I like way better with this sweater.  Plus it has been 11 months since I worn it last.

Hello Everyone. I know I haven't been around much. Mostly it due to getting the house put together and just being busy with life. Every weekend we are out doing something with are friends. 

On July 20 was my birthday. Which I couldn't have asked for a better one. I got everything off my birthday wish and more. The day of my birthday hubby took me out for lunch at pizza it. We really like there pizza. After that we went to a cupcake bakery and got a dozen of cupcake. They were amazing. Later that night we went out to dinner with a few of are friend. We went to an Italian restaurant. Which the food was amazing. After dinner we came back to my house where we had cupcake and then went out for drinks. 

Thank you to everyone who sent me a birthday wish via IG, Facebook and Twitter it meant a lot to me. Also thanks to everyone who sent me a birthday card and a gift.
