Christmas Tag

Christmas tree in the picture is my tree from last year. 

1. Do you like to stay in your PJ’s, or dress up for Christmas? If I plan on stay home on Christmas then I will stay in my Pj's. Otherwise I dress up. 
 2. If you could only buy one person a present this year, who would it be? It would have to be my Oma
3. Do you open your presents Christmas Eve or Christmas morning? As a child I would open present on both days. Now I just want until Christmas morning
4. Have you ever built a Gingerbread house? I sure haven't
5. What do you like to do on your Christmas break? Don't have a Christmas break but the couple day my Husband has off. We just relax and watch movies. 
6. What’s your favorite Christmas meal or treat? I love ham and sweet potato casserole. 

7. What’s your favorite holiday movie? Rudolph
8. Candy Canes or Gingerbread Men? Candy Candy, Specially the Cherry ones. 
9. Have you ever made a snowman? Yes, I haven't made one in a long time. Last year we didn't get any snow that stuck around. Not sure if we will get any this year.
10. Which do you like better, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? I like both equally 
11. White lights, or colored lights? White Lights
Hello Everyone, I thought it would be fun to do a Christmas tag.  I find this tag on Glow of Grace blog.  I haven't gotten all my decoration up yet but plan on doing that soon. Right now my husband have been redoing are kitchen. Which it is coming along nicely. We just have to make another Ikea run to be finished.

Today Christmas Item is red and green string. I hung up to display some of my Christmas card on. The clothes pin have  gingerbread men on them. Also some have snowflake. So far it is displaying my first card. Which is from my Oma. She gave me my Christmas card the day we left Florida. Which I didn't open it until yesterday.

My Writing Process

Hello Everyone. I was tag by Naturelbellefemme back in August to do the my writing process tag.  So here we go.
What I am working on? I working on bringing you all my Old Navy haul post. Also brainstorm new outfit idea. Along with post for my non outfit days.
How does my work differ from other blogs? I try my best to be different from other fashion blogger by bring outfits that everyday women can wear. Plus try my best to make them afford for all types of budgets. Beside showing my outfits. I try to bring other fun things to my blog like my travels, how I paint my nails and recipe post.
Why do I write what I do? I write about fashion because it truly makes me happy to showcase my outfit. I find fashion to be fun and I love to come up with new ways to wear clothing items. Which I hope it help other women to think outside of the box as well.
How does your writing process work? I use a blog calendar to keep myself organize. Which for my non outfit days. I pre-plan what I'm going to write about. It can be anything from beauty to something about my life. My Frist Time Tag (1200 Post)

12. Best thing you have gotten as a gift. 

My mom coming out of a coma in 2007. That was one rough Christmas for all of us. I got a phone call at 4am in Germany saying I need to go back to the state. That things didn't look good at all for my mom. The next day I was on a plane to Michigan. My mom was in a coma for 2 and half week.  Lucky we are blessed and she come out of it. She is doing much better now. She did loss feeling in her left side. 

13. Any other traditions?

Every year I get a new Christmas ornament for my brother in law, sister and hubby. My brother in law gets me a new ornament every year as well.

14. Are you making any resolutions? What are they?

Yes I make new year resolutions but right now not sure what they will be.

CHRISTMAS TAG 2013

1. Why do YOU love Christmas?

I love Christmas for all the Christmas Light. I also enjoy giving gift to family and friends. I love watch there happy and shocked face's. When they see there gifts. 

2. Does your family have any Holiday traditions?

Some of my traditions are putting a tree in the bathroom. Which I started this one a few years ago. Also every year we would go to my Grandma Mickey house for Christmas Eve. Then once my Aunt K got her new house. Then we all started to go over there for Christmas Eve. On Christmas day we would have everyone at my parents house. Once I moved to Florida I started hosting Christmas at my house.

I have a little tradition with my BIL. Which is every year we trade ornament. I find it fun to look back at all the ornament that he has gave me over the year. We been doing this for 11 years now. Which I broke a hand made ornament. That he made me. It was the cute thing. He was just learning how to write. So the y in Amy was a closed y. Picture of the ornament is above.

I also make sure I buy hubby a new ornament every year. Plus I buy a new ornament for my sister every year. I have a hodge podge tree and love it.

3. What's your favorite Winter/Christmas scent?

Vanilla Bean Noel~ Which I ran out of and can't get it here in Germany.

4. Favorite Christmas movies?

The classic Christmas Movies. Like Frosty the Snowman and Rudolf

5. Favorite Christmas song(s)?

All I Want for Christmas is you and Mariah Carey Oh Santa

6. What are your top 3 items on your Christmas list this year?

Calendar, Fox Sweater From Old Navy and More Beret

7. What is your Favorite Holiday beverage or Starbucks drink?

From Starbucks Toffee Nut Latte and  I love hot chocolate with baby marshmallow

So far no snow but I'm hoping for snow for Christmas

I put a fake Christmas Tree up with my ornament collection. Which I can tell where every ornament came from. Plus I hang the stocking up. This is the first year in a long time that I have all  my Christmas stuff out.
