Hello everyone. This month I went a little over broad and way over budget. The big purchase where my 2 pair of shoe and my jacket. I need to jacket since it rain a lot in Germany. The jacket is water proof. Which is prefect to wear in the rain. I did break my clothing ban with buying it. For the shoe. I didn't need the coach sandals at all. I just mainly got them do to they were on sale. Plus the will give me another pair of sandals to wear until I get my stuff in July. As for the Under Amour shoe I need them for Zumba. I been going to Zumba on Monday and Thursday.  The first time I did Zumba in my walking Puma shoe and man did my feet hurt. Also on Tuesday I do circuit training. So the Under Amour Shoe work for that.

Broke my clothing ban at 40 days. Now to start over again.

I have gone 28 days with out buying clothes and 11 days with out buying shoe.

Dombauverein Speyer

The Romanesque Imperial St Mary’s Cathedral of Speyer was founded by the first Salian emperor Conrad II. Soon after he was elected German king in 1024, he commissioned the construction of the Christian Western world’s largest church. As early as in 1061, the construction was nearly completed and the cathedral was consecrated. Speyer Cathedral is the most stunning outcome of early Salian architecture and served as a model for the further development of Romanesque church building. This is both due to its monumental dimensions and due to the overwhelmingly beautiful interior and the crypt, which is one of the largest and most magnificent of its kind.

Under the auspices of Conrad’s grandson, Emperor Henry IV, the eastern sections were demolished about 1090. The cathedral re-emerged in a more sculptural style typical of the prime of the Romanesque period. In the course of these modifications the dwarf gallery, which runs all around the structure and is distinctive of Speyer Cathedral, was created in a previously unknown style. The addition of groin vaults to the formerly flat-roofed nave was one of the most ambitious building projects of these days.

The cathedral was left relatively unchanged until the end of the 17th century. During the Palatinate War of Succession, French troops pillaged artworks and set fire to the cathedral (1689). The effects were devastating - the western part of the nave and the late Gothic elements were destroyed by the fire. In the years after its destruction, only the eastern part of the episcopal church was lastingly secured and used for services. It was not until 1778 that the cathedral was restored after the reconstruction of the Romanesque nave and the erection of a Baroque west end under the direction of Franz I. M. Neumann. In 1794, the cathedral was again ravaged by French revolutionary troops.

After the Palatinate was passed to Bavaria in 1816, the Bavarian kings ordered the renovation and ornamentation of the cathedral. On the instructions of King Louis I, Johann Schraudolph decorated the entire interior with Nazarene style frescoes (1846-1853). However, only the cycle of 24 scenes from the life of the Virgin in the nave is preserved. The neo-Romanesque west end was constructed under the direction of Heinrich Hübsch (1854-1858). The burial site was redesigned and opened to the public shortly after 1900.
The 1957-1971 restoration of the cathedral was directed towards both securing the structure and recreating the original atmosphere of the interior. In the course of these works, the major part of the 19th century decoration was removed. The current restoration aims at maintaining and preserving the edifice.

During its almost one thousand years of existence, Speyer Cathedral assumed a principal role in the fields of religion and architecture. However, its historical importance should not be neglected either. The inestimable value of the edifice was acknowledged in 1981 when the UNESCO added the cathedral to its World Cultural and Natural Heritage List.

Hello Everyone. On Saturday May 25th. Hubby and a few friend plus me all went to explore Speyer Germany. First we went to the Auto and Technik Museum. After the museum we went to the Dombauverein. Which we didn't get to see the whole church due to they where getting ready to start church.

Hello Everyone. I hope you all are doing well.  I'm doing great.  On Tuesday we went and sign our lease for a 2 bedroom plus an office apartment. Which is a 15 minute walk to town. We can't move in until July. So the count down is on. I can't want to have my own bed back and all my things.
Also on May 22nd I go and take my driving test. So I have been studying for that. I official know 166 sign by heart. Which there 168 sign you need to know for the test. So I have to figure out how to remember the other two by heart.

Beside that I'm getting back in to working out.  Also I hope to get some outfit of the day post for you guys too. Lately I just haven't been feeling my outfit. Plus I been wearing the same stuff over and over.

Braun IONTEC Satin 7 Blow Dryer

Hello Everyone. Today I decide I would share my hair care routine with you all. I wash my hair every other days. The longest I will go with out washing my hair is 3 days. The days I don't wash my hair I use dry shampoo. I have only use the suave one so far and really like it. I been using the suave professional shampoo for 8 month so far. I really like the smell of it and how my hair looks after I use it. My cousin was the person who recommend it to me. Also Jayme and Mendi of Her Late Night Cravings are big Suave fan too. So you know the product works and great thing is it only 1.99 a bottle at some stores.

For heat Protection I been using Herbal Essences Set Me Up: Shimmer Spray that Nicole sent me in November of last year.  At first I would only used this heat protection spary when my hair was dry. I would use Ausse Heat Protection when my hair was wet. Last month I ran out of the Ausse. So now I just been using the Herbal Essences one. Which when I ran out of it. I'm not sure what I will use. I would love to keep using the same Herbel essence. I just haven't found it over here yet.

For my hair to not look all frizzy. I use the iontec on my blow dryer and straightener.  After that my hair looks awesome. I would differently recommend using ionic products on your hair.
