Review: Hooray Foods’ 100% plant-based bacon

Happy Wednesday Everyone. Today is special day I’m to show you are review on Hooray Foods’ 100% plant-based bacon but not only that. Today is my Birthday. I can’t believe i’m 37 today. I’m getting so close to being 40 which is so crazy to me. As you all know I have been on a health and fitness journey and in doing so. I have been changing my eating habit.

Which includes eat more plant based products. So I super excited to try out my first plant based meat product. If you been following along with my health journey and my what I eat in a day post. Then you already know. I eat eggs and some kind of bacon product. In todays post I’m going to share my thought on the Hooray Foods’ 100% plant-based bacon.

First off this bacon is not like or normal bacon. Of course it not since it is plant base. The first that that different about this bacon then you normal bacon. Is you have to cook it in the oven at bake at 325 degrees on parchment paper for 10-15 minutes. When I was cooking mine it had a horrible smell to it. So right way after smelling it. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the Hooray Foods’ 100% plant-based bacon.

After Hooray Foods’ 100% plant-based bacon was done cooking. I took it out of the oven and by looking at it. It looked just like your normal bacon. So I plated it up and gave it a try. Which I didn’t like it at all. The taste was horrible plus the bacon had a rubber texture to it. Maybe it just because I haven’t try plant base meat before. After trying this plant base bacon. I’m going to just stick to my normal turkey bacon.

The other thing I wasn’t crazy for was the nutrition in this bacon. First off no portion in it what so ever. The plus is it has no sugar in it. The calories count on the bacon is 40. Which is good. Unlike turkey bacon that has 45. Over all I will be sticking with my normal turkey bacon. If you have try this Hooray Foods’ 100% plant-based bacon. Let me know how you like it.

Review: Peter Thomas Roth: PRO Strength 10% PHA Exfoliating Clarifying Liquid

Happy Monday Everyone! Today I'm here to introduce you all to Peter Thomas Roth. There an amazing skincare company. I’m so honor to be able to share a review with you all. On one of there products. The product I’m sharing with you all today is there PRO Strength 10% PHA Exfoliating Clarifying Liquid.

PRO Strength 10% PHA Exfoliating Clarifying Liquid is a daily leave-on exfoliating and clarifying liquid. It is packed with an expert-level concentration of 10% Glucanolactone Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) and boosted by 5% Glycolic Acid (AHA) and 0.5% Salicylic Acid (BHA) to reduce the look of uneven skin texture, uneven skin tone and acne.

All you need to use this product is a cotton pad. You only need a little bit on the cotton pad to cover you whole face. It is recommed to use the PRO Strength 10% PHA Exfoliating Clarifying Liquid at night. Then work your way up to using it at night and in the morning. I’m currently only using it right before bed. night. Since removing it. I find the bottle way nicer to use.

The bottle is a nice hard bottle. Which is super nice. The only downsize to the bottle was the little tab on the top of the lid. Which I ended up taking off. Since I was tired of dealing with it every night. Since removing it. I find the bottle way nicer to use.

I started using Peter Thomas Roth: PRO Strength 10% PHA Exfoliating Clarifying Liquid on January 17th. Which is the first picture on the top. Then next picture was take in the mustard yellow sweater on January 21st. After that is a picture in the blue polka dot robe on January 25th. The last two photo were taken on February 3rd and 7th.

Review: Pureauty Naturals Biotin Hair serum

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Today I'm here to introduce you all to Pureauty Naturals. They sale hair care and skin care products. They were nice and sent me over there Biotin Hair serum. Which this couldn’t haven’t come at a better time. Since I’m trying to grow my hair out. In 2017 my hair was down to my back. Then in 2018 I made a huge chop to it. Now I’m trying to get my hair back to that length again.

Since we all have been in some sort of lockdown due to Covid-19. I haven’t been going to the salon nor looking at new hair products to tryout. I have bottom line took my hair care in to my own hands. I have turn to coloring it myself. Plus giving myself my own hair cuts. Which has saved me money but probably isn’t the best for my hair.

I have been using the Biotin Hair serum for a few weeks now. I so have been loving it. My hair did take a few weeks to get used it. After the first time using the Biotin hair serum. My hair looks extra greasy then normal. After going 3 days with out wash it. Since I have been using it every thing I wash my hair. I no longer have that problem. I have actully have been able to go 5 days now without washing my hair and it still looks amazing.

This Biotn Hair Serum is easy to incorporate into your daily hair care routine. All you have to do is apply it to slightly damp hair after washing or rinsing. Work a quarter-sized amount of product into palms and massage into your scalp, working from root to tip of hair using your fingertips. Sit back and relax as your hair fully absorbs the serum and all the nutrients that come along with it. I normally put my hair up in a bun after apply the serum.

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Its that time of year again when your lips start to get dry out. So therefor I’m here to share with you one of my go to lip care products. Which is Lypsyl Lip Balm. I have been using there Original Mint lip balm now for over a year and have been loving it.

Lypsyl Lip Balm leave’s your lips feeling nice a smooth and soft. Plus the minty flavor is so refreshing on your lips.  It leaves you lips feeling a little bit tickling which is also one of the  reason why I love this lip balm so much.  Another things that is great about this  Lypsyl Original Mint lip balm is very lightweight. So it doesn't weigh your lips down at all. Plus the lip balm has a very nice creamy texture to it. Which help with the lip balm to go on fast and last on your lips.

The packaging of the Lypsyl is not like your normal Chapstick or lip balm.  The reason for that is Lypsyl lip balm is wider. So therefor it  able to cover your whole lip in one go.  Also with Lypsyl Lip balm has a cute little bee slider to being the product to the top. Which I find super handy. Plus it a super cute look to the packaging. I currently have 4 of these Lypsyl Lip balm. Which I have one in my work pouch. That I carry around at work and use it when I feel like my lips are getting dry. I also have one next to bedside. That I apply to my lips right before bed.  Also have another one in my diaper bag. So that I have it when I’m out with baby girl.

Review: Lypsyl Lip Balm

Happy Monday Everyone! If you have been reading my blog since June then you know. I'm starting to get back in to taking care of my skin. Not only I'm forcing on my skincare. I'm all taking better care of my lips with lip care.  

Which beings me to the lip product I want to share with you all today.  Lypsyl was nice and sent me over two of there Original Mint lip balms to try out. I have been using this lip balm for a few weeks now and love it. I have notice a huge diffence in my lips. They are no longer super dry and cracking.

My Updated Skincare Routine Using NeoStrata

Happy Friday Everyone! Today I'm here to share with you all my updated skincare routine. With some new products that I added in from NeoStrata. In June I share a few product that I was trying out from Neosrata. Since I have been loving their products so much. I couldn't wait to try some more out. 

One of the product that I added in to my skincare is NeoStrata SKIN ACTIVE Tri-Therapy Lifting Serum. This is the first serum that I have try since getting back in to taking care of my skin again. Over all I have been loving it. This serum is super nice and light weight. I have been wearing under my makeup and also by it self.  
All you need is 3 to 5 drop of SKIN ACTIVE Tri-Therapy Lifting Serum to cover you whole face. This serum helps with volumize and sculpt skin, filling the look of deep wrinkles and improving the appearance of skin laxity.  For best result you need to use this serum in the morning and night. Not only is this serum great for your skin. It smells amazing. 

The next product I added in to my skincare is NeoStrata Clarifying Cleanser. Sadly I can't say anything good about this product. I was using it for a week. To wash my face in the morning. After a few days of using it. My skin started to dry out.  
Once I stopped using the Clarifying Cleanser and went back to using NeoStrata Skin Active Exfoliating Wash. My face was no longer dryer.  I'm still going to give the Clarifying Cleanser another chance. By only using it when my skin is super oily.  

The last product that I have been using from NeoStrata is there Sheer Physical Protection SPF 50.   This is a ultra-sheer, mattifying treatment is formulated to provide photostable, physical broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection with a sheer tint that blends with skin's natural tone.

I have been using this Sheer Physical Protection SPF 50 everyday as my foundation. I love how light weight it is.  Which makes it prefect for everyday wear. I have worn it by its self and also with a full makeup look. 
Before you apply Sheer Physical Protection SPF 50 to your face. You need to shake it vigorously for at least 15 seconds before each use to ensure uniform product consistency. I have find the best way to apply the Sheer Physical Protection SPF 50 is with a makeup brush. I have try applying this to my face with just using my fingers but it didn't look that good.

The top photo's are Sheer Physical Protection SPF 50 by it self. As you can see it gives you a light coverage. Which is prefect for the warmer month. The bottom picture are with my makeup fully done. All I did was set the Sheer Physical Protection SPF 50 with some banana powder. 

It has been two month now since I have been taking care of my skin again and overall. I feel like my skin is look 100% better. Then what it did. When my Grandma was here at the beginning of this month. She told me that I have beautiful skin and wanted to know what I was using. So of course I told her. It was so nice to get that wonderful compliment from her.

Review: Yardley Soaps

Yardley Soaps use a combination of ingredients from nature like exfoliating oatmeal that makes your skin feel good, combined with lush fragrances that make you feel good.

That why they are the prefect bar of soap to use to get some me time in. Yardley was nice and sent me over three of there bars to try out. Which all of these soaps smell amazing. The three bars they sent me are the following. 

• Creamy Coconut Moisturizing Bath Bar
• English Lavender Moisturizing Bath Bar
• Oatmeal & Almond Moisturizing Bath Bar

I used the English Lavender Moisturizing Bath Bar during my nightly shower. To wind down before heading to bed and we all know lavender is supposed to help you sleep better. That's why you find it in a lot of baby products. This English Lavender bar not only smelled amazing. It also lathered very nice. As you can see from my photo above. 
After using the English Lavender Moisturizing Bath Bar my skin felt so refreshed and super soft. Not only did my skin feel nice. I also felt super relaxed and calm. Which was super nice to feel after my busy day. Of handle my every day to day stuff as a mother and a wife. 

You can find Yardley Soaps at your local Walmart.  They sell for .97 cent for a single bar or you can get a three pack of them for 2.47. The soap is local down your bar soap aisle.  So not only are these soap amazing for your skin and your soul. They also don't break your bank account. Which is a huge plus in my book.

Review: My Summer Skincare Using NeoStrata

Hello Everyone! I'm back with another review. Like I said last week. I have been getting back in to taking care of my skin again. Since I didn't take care of it during during my pregnancy. Due to I didn't want to be putting any harmful chemicals on my skin.

Today I'm here to share with you a few new product from NeoStrata. That I have added in to my skincare. Along with the product I mention last week. Over all my skin is starting to look clearer and healthier again. 

The first product that I add to my skincare routine is NeoStrata Enlighten Ultra Brightening Cleanser. I have been using this a few times a weeks to wash my face with. Morning and night. The only thing I don't like about this cleanser. Is it smell really bad. This cleanser works great to remove makeup off your face. Which is a huge plus. Since I normally have to use 2 to 3 makeup removal wipes to get my makeup off. This cleanser does it in one go. 

NeoStrata Enlighten Ultra Brightening Cleanser helps with dark spots and surface cells. It has Alpine Plant Extracts which help brighten and clarify skin. To make your face look more brighter and not so dull. Some key ingredients are the following

• Alpine Plant Extracts
• NeoGlucosamine

The second product that I added in to my skincare routine is NeoStrata Enlighten Skin Brightener SPF 25. After I wash my face in the morning I apply this moisturizer. What I love about this moisturizer is that is has sunscreen in it. Like I have said in the past I can be forgetful and not put any sunscreen on. So to have a product that has sunscreen in it is a huge plus for me. 

Not only is this product helping me fight the harmful rays for the sun. It is also helping diminish the appearance of dark spots and brighten overall skin tone. Which is a huge plus. The NeoStrata Enlighten Skin Brightener SPF 25 apply just like a normal moisturizer does.  It has a sunscreen smell to it but overall the smell isn't bad at all. 

Some ingredients are the following

• NeoGlucosamine
• Grape Seed Extract
• Vitamin E

The last NeoStrata product that I have been using is there Skin Active Exfoliating Wash. When I'm not washing my face with the Enlighten Ultra Brightening Cleanser. I'm washing my face with the Skin Active Exfoliating Wash. This wash also does an amazing job with removing your makeup. Which I love. 

The NeoStrata Skin Active Exfoliating Wash help with soothes and refreshes your skin. Not only does it do that is also helps with stimulates skin cell renewal. It is a nice and light foaming face wash.  Some key Ingredients are the following

• Aloe
• Chamomile
• Cucumber
• Rosemary Extracts

As you can see above my skin is starting to look more clearer and healthier. The redness is my face is starting to go way. Plus the wrinkles in my forehead are also starting to not be as noticeable. Overall I'm super happy with this skincare line. I can't wait to update you all in a few months to show you all how my skin is looking.
